Farmer's Market Activity Kit

Welcome to the Farmer's Market where farm fresh never goes out of style! Your child will be able to create so many different learning scenarios! Color sorting, fruits and veggie recognition, the importance of the farmer and the food we eat, counting, planting the seed and tilling the soil, labeling.....and for your older children there is even opportunity for addition, subtraction, and fractions!  Our sensory kits are packed with meaningful materials that will help you and your children spend less time preparing activities, and more time playing!

This Dough Sensory Kit Includes:

• 3 different colored homemade doughs, two of which are scented: strawberry and mint
• picket fence
• farmer's market basket
• variety of play fruits and veggies
• 2 wooden stampers exclusively made by Buttercup and Oak just for Appaloosa Tots kits!
• straw and 2 eggs
• 2 seed packets: kidney beans and black beans
• rake
• garden signs and additional stakes

Sensory kits are wonderful for many reasons:  building sensory development, hand coordination, language expansion, strengthening of hand muscles to improve writing, and expressing their individual creativity,  are amongst a mile long list of positive ways sensory kits affect our children.  Sensory kits can also offer a calming effect to anxiety driven children helping them to engage and learn in a fun hands on atmosphere.
